An estimated 211,240 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. this year, making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. That’s 578 diagnoses per day. Against such daunting numbers, women have a responsibility to gain control of their own health simply by asking their doctor to prescribe an annual screening mammogram.

Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health is hosting a free program about Uterine Fibroid Treatment, planned for Thursday, March 18. Visit our Events Page for more details.

Here at the Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health, we pride ourselves on being a unique coordinated healthcare and advanced diagnostics center. Upon entering, one quickly sees that this is not a typical healthcare facility.
The environment is spa-like and soothing, the care is progressive and patient-focused and same-day diagnostic results are available. This environment has made us a popular option for women’s health in Chicagoland.
That said, we understand the difficulty that comes with putting your trust in a new healthcare facility. So whether you’re a Silver Cross regular or just checking things out, our brand new blog is built for you. You can expect to find:
Information on upcoming events and classes, on subjects including osteoporosis, mammography and menopause, among many others
Why you should get your mammogram at Silver Cross
How to get discounts at local businesses just for getting your annual mammogram or heart screening
At the Silver Cross Center for Women’s Health, we will provide you with healthcare that integrates your needs, your concerns, and your lifestyle into a complete path to wellness. It’s a partnership that puts each woman at the center.
We recognize that women sit at the center of multiple worlds. And because each individual woman matters to so many, her health matters to us. It matters that she gets regular health screenings. And it matters that she gets the very best care close to home.
