The nation’s best rehabilitative care is available at Silver Cross through RIC partnership
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), a global leader in comprehensive rehabilitation care and home to the nation’s largest center for research in rehabilitation medicine, has been recently recognized as the first and only specialty hospital in the nation to be ranked #1 for 20 consecutive years.
The rankings, reported in the July 27th “Best Hospitals” issue of U.S. News & World Report, are based on a survey of board-certified physiatrists (physicians who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation).
Earlier this year, Silver Cross and RIC joined together to expand post-acute physical medicine and rehabilitation services in Will County and the southwest Chicagoland communities. The new partnership provides world-class rehabilitation care for a range of conditions for patients close to home.

The Celebration of Health took place on Friday, June 18. Unfortunately, around the time the Celebration began was around the time one of the season’s biggest storms hit the area. With the inclement weather, the event didn’t go quite as planned, but we still got plenty out of the day.
To all attendees and our business partners, thank you for turning what could have been a disastrous night into a memorable one. Here’s hoping next year’s Celebration is aided by sunlight and clear skies!
