Silver Cross teaches classes for infant, child and adult CPR, rescue from choking, first aid and AED training. American Heart Association certification provided.

Baseline Cardiac Risk Assessment
Silver Cross Hospital Outpatient Testing Center
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. If you are not sure if you are at risk for heart disease, now is the time to find out. This screening includes measurements of total cholesterol including HDL and LDL levels, blood glucose level, triglyceride level, blood pressure and body fat; 12-lead EKG, health and lifestyle evaluation, and a personal phone consultation with a registered cardiac nurse to review results and answer questions. Colorectal Cancer Screening Kit
Cost: Free
Beginning at age 50, individuals should begin regular colorectal screenings. Using the kit, you will collect a stool sample in your home and send it to the hospital’s Lab to be tested for blood. Results are mailed back for patients to share with their physician. Request a free colon cancer screening kit.

Many women experience painful intercourse at some point in their lives, and it could be a result of physical problems and psychological situations. This topic is usually avoided during a doctor’s visit but it is highly important to be addressed since there are several options to manage this condition and improve the quality of lives of the women that suffer from it. This condition is known as dyspareunia, which is defined as persistent or recurrent genital pain that occurs just before, during or after intercourse, and depending on the underlying cause either medical or surgical approaches such as robotic surgery can help eliminate or reduce this common problem.
